Pierco makes their products in beautiful Southern California, in the United States of America.
- Are plastic frames safe to use during honey production? Will my honey be safe?
We know that the quality of your honey matters to you; which means it matters to us. At Pierco we hold ourselves to a higher standard. We use our proprietary blend of FDA compliant, food-grade, BPA-free plastic; which means your honey is completely safe.
- I just bought Pierco drone frames; now, how do I use them?

- Can I clean my Pierco frames and foundations?

- Can I recycle my frames and foundations once I am done with them?
Of course! The staff here at Pierco cares for the environment as much as you do. As a result we have made sure to use only recyclable, code 6 plastic.
NOTE: Some recycling facilities may not accept used or waxed frames/foundations due to their bee and insect and/or wax and burr comb content. If the frames/foundations are not accepted as is for recycling, you may need to thoroughly clean them prior to recycling. For further cleaning instructions, please review this link.
- How do Pierco frames perform in hot, humid, or cold climates?
Your products should work quite well, even in the hottest, dampest, or coldest conditions. At Pierco, we strive for excellence. This means that we have thoroughly tested our products in many different conditions to ensure we are producing the best product for our customers. Our frames are built to withstand temperatures of 210°F. Steam forms at 212°F, therefore our frames will begin to distort/deflect when subjected to these conditions for extended periods of time.
- Can I get a list of distributors who sell Pierco products?

- Is there a difference between the black and white frames and foundations?
No, the two products are exactly the same with the exception of their color. However, some people prefer the black, claiming it is easier to see the larvae in the frames. On the other hand, many of our customers have no preference.
- Why is the drone frame colored green?
Here at Pierco, we like to try to make life easy on you. We colored the drone frame green so you can quickly identify it in the hive.
