Here's our Pierco wooden frame with their double waxed foundation. I'm highly impressed, bees started drawing out wax overnight.
I'd say there's definitely enough wax on the single coat. The flow still hasn't started yet down here and they are pulling pretty good.
I exclusively use Pierco hive top feeders, one-piece, green drone frames, their wood frames, and their triple wax-coated foundation. The bees are incredibly motivated to draw the comb - from the top of the frame to the bottom, and from the front to the back.
